Blake Bailey

Blake’s work background has been over 15 years in the medical field, over 8 years in accounting (accounts receivables, accounts payables, taxes, payroll, and unemployment benefits), over 10 years in sales, and 2 years in banking (consumer/mortgage lending). He has also worked alongside his father for years in construction, as he has had a construction business for over 15 years and has been in the industry for about 35 years. He bought his home here in Ludington and ripped it down to the studs and rebuilt the home, mostly by himself.

His educational background consists of a general associates degree from West Shore Community College, Associate’s degree concentrated in accounting from West Shore Community College, Bachelor’s degree in business administration concentrated in accounting from Baker College of Muskegon. He was certified in OSHA-30 general, this was the federal OSHA training not MIOSHA training. He has recently started working with individuals on credit counseling, understanding credit scores, and how to improve them. He is currently working on becoming certified through the State of Michigan to become a credit counselor.

Blake’s passion to join the Habitat of Humanity team comes from wanting to make a difference. He wants to help people improve their homes and community. Blake is a firm believer that he can make a difference in others’ lives; if he helps someone improve their credit score and finances to get them into a home, their lives can change for the positive.

it me. It's easy.
